 Day One: Clan Members were treated to a tour of the U.S. Capitol building.

 

 Day One: Clan Members enjoy the view  from the U.S. Capitol steps.

 

 Day One: Clan Members  lunched at Gadsby's Tavern in Alexandria, Virginia. Built in 1785 as a Tavern and hotel. James Monroe often visited the establishment during his Presidency.

 

 Day Two: One tour group visited the University of Mary Washington for a special President James Monroe exhibit. This was followed by a excellent buffet lunch at the college dining hall.

 

 Day Two: One tour group visited the memorials including the National World War II Memorial.

 

 

 Day Two: Henry  "Hank" Munro (current Clan President) (on the right) asks for some Presidential advice. William T. Monroe, Jr. (current Treasurer) listens in.  The bust (President Monroe) wasn't talking.

 

 At the Banquet:  An Braithrean-Gaelic for "The Brothers" entertained all. Paul and Mary Rohe danced to the music of their sons Jeff, Steve, and Mike.
