COME ONE, COME ALL TO THE 2015 GATHERING
WHERE? ASHEVILLE, NC, DOUBLETREE INN
WHEN? THURSDAY, AUG. 6 – SUNDAY, AUG. 9
Come to Asheville and experience the warmth of Munro friendship, the coolness of the mountains, and the beauty of the area settled by Scots in the early 1800s as they searched for an area that reminded them of their Scottish highlands.
Among the attractions we will visit are the world-renowned Biltmore Estate and the Folk Art Center, which is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway. At the Folk Art Center, we will hear talks about the development of highland crafts, see some actually made, and have the opportunity to shop. We will experience a square dance on Friday night, the banquet on Saturday night, and the Kirkin’ of the Tartan on Sunday morning.
Asheville is easily accessible by car for those living on the east coast of the United States and by air at the Asheville-Hendersonville airport.
Put the Clan Munro gathering 2015 on your calendar now. You won’t want to miss it!
